Sous leadership du chef de l’État, Jovenel Moïse, une usine d’asphalte vient d’être installée à l’Acul de Gros-Morne. Cette usine devra favoriser la construction d’infrastructures routières dans le Grand Nord, notamment le tronçon de route ” Kafou Jòf/Anse-à -Foleur” qui représente un véritable calvaire pour les habitants du Nord-Ouest et de l’Artibonite.
