Selon Miami Herald, Les cinq Americains armés arrêtés en Haïti puis transférés aux Etats-Unis ne feront pas l’objet de poursuites criminelles. Ces hommes auraient déclaré aux autorités américaines qu’ils se trouvaient en Haïti pour assurer la sécurité privée d’un «homme d’affaires» travaillant pour le compte du gouvernement haïtien.
