Depuis après le passage de l’ouragan Matthew sur le grand Sud, les habitants d’Anadère sont livrés à eux-mêmes, aucune assistance jusqu’à date à cette petite localité située à quelques kilomètres de la ville des Cayes. Seulement deux maisons ont résisté à cette catastrophe. Matthew a plongé respectivement la 4e et la 8e section des Cayes et de Maniche dans un profond désespoir.
